This is a Barred Rock and I'm thinking "she" is going to be a "he"? The comb is coming in faster than the others, its legs are all white, spot on its head is not as around as everyone elses, it is bigger and maturing faster than the rest. Or could it just be that it's maturing fast? It is about 12 days old and I know it's kinda young to tell but it's odd how much different the comb is from everyone elses

(sorry about not being able to post directly. It won't let me yet)

Can we see a photo of the comb of one of the others for comparison? Also, look at the size of the head spots. A cockerel will have a bigger head spot than a pullet.

Is there any way you can post a picture of his comb without the red light of the brooder behind it? I think it is casting an artificial rosiness to the comb that isn't there.

The size of the head spot and the size of the comb (though, as Pele said, it's hard to tell the color of the comb) make me think roo.
