Hello everyone,

I have 3 chickens, and all 3 are 10 weeks old (one barred rock, and 2 silkies), they are all very attached to each other but unfortunately this morning, one of them crowed! I'm not sure who it was, but I feel it was my barred rock, considering he is starting to show features of a rooster. My city does not allow roosters so I'm not sure what I will do with him. Any advice will be much appreciated!!

It’s always a bummer to find out that one of your babies ends up being a rooster cause you run into this problem- I’ve also had to get rid of some roosters. :( Sometimes you are able take them to your feed store and they can rehome them- at least this is what I did, but it ultimately depends on your feed store. And sometimes you “rooster” lays an egg and you don’t have to worry about that anymore! Yes- this has also happened to me 😂
