Hello!
I know it is REALLY early to sex for sure, but my new blue laced red wyandotte seems to have quite a pink comb for his/her age! I can't really compare it to my other blue laced wyandotte chick because the other one seems to have a whole different comb type! I would enjoy keeping a rooster, but my neighbors gave me a definite "NO!". I'll send a picture of both wyandottes. The first two images are of the "maybe" rooster. The next two are of the chick with the different comb!

Yes... really young (almost four weeks)

The second chick has an incorrect single comb that sometimes happens. Post new pictures at 6-10 weeks.

Thankyou oldhenlikesdogs!
Thats what I thought about the single comb chick, (I think it's kind of cool though!) I will try to remember to send the next picture at 6 weeks, (I put it on my calendar!:p)

I guess the single combs are pretty common then!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
(those were the only two wyandottes I got)
What are the rooster signs you were looking for, maybe it can help me identify the sexes of my other babies too. (Or I could always post them here)
I will still take more photos at six weeks to see if there are any changes.
Thank you for answering!

Both are cockerels for sure
They are much too young to tell yet. The thicker comb on the first one is suspicious, but it's too young to know for sure. The single combed one has no signs of being male currently.
