Rooster or Pullet?

#1 ... I think probably Pullet...Is a RIR

#2... Im on the fence with this one is it slow to feather and comb is turning red but is not very large. im still 50/50 on this one..Barred Rock

#3...RIR...probably pullet

#4 RIR...Probably pullet

#5 RIR...slow to feather...probably pullet

#6 Barred Rock....Probably Rooster very red larger comb

#7 RIR...probably pullet

#8 RIR...probably pullet

I think they are 3-4 weeks old...do you think they are 3-4 wks old? they are straight run i got for free and were shipped in the same package. what are your opinions on what they may be? i thank everyone for their input

I believe that both of your BRs are Roos...I know that second one is for sure. Looks to me like all of your RIRs are pullets.

yea its my thought they are too...yea the RIR look to be pullets so far, i would be happy to have only 2 roos from that 8 lol

#6 and #7 are looking like roos to me.

I think 4 and 5 look like girls. 2, 6 and 7 look like for sure little roos. The rest have pretty big combs so they could be roos too.

thanks. i haven't seen anymore comb or wattle development with the RIR. I know the one Barred Rock is a roo. I have seen rooster behavior even with one i bought as a pullet but we will see in a few more weeks it should be clearly apparent whos who then. LOL... i love playing the waiting game lol just like with my Crested Geckos you dont know until they are about 15grams which can take a year to know what they will be and sometimes longer as they are slow growers. LOL.
