Rooster or Pullet?

Hello all byc'ers!!! I was wondering whether this one month old golden sex link is a rooster or a Pullet! Thx!

Looks like a pullet to me. The whole point of a gold/red sex link is that they can be sexed at birth so you don't have to go through the drama of wondering

So for gold/red sex links, that coloration is female. Not to mention the comb and wattles are very small (comb is actually unusually small for a sex link). Is she about 3 months old or...?

Golden Sex Links are well, uh, sex links. That means they are easy to sex at hatch by coloration. The cockerels are white while the pullets are reddish.

Here's a photo with one cockerel sitting amidst a bunch of pullets. Easy to spot, no?

You can get 30 people to tell you it is a pullet. What would be better is for you to understand why it is pullet.

Do you understand the "sex link" thing? That chicks come out either white for male or reddish for female?
Once you understand this, you've learned something that you can apply again, down the road.

The whole "give a man a fish" versus "teaching a man how to fish" kind of thing.
