this is one I have been watching carefully, he has a nice wide body, back and head as well as the rose comb I would like to breed into my meat bird project. Not quite sure what color he is but I have him in with 5 bresse hens and 2 white laced red cornish so we will see what we get.

this is my Delaware cross rooster and his mom. He was 5 pounds at 12 weeks... good start to a meat line.

this is big white he is out of big boy. I had a hard time finding him for a while he was blending in with the turkeys that are his age. They are finally starting to outgrow him they hatched in july.

this boy is half brahma I think based on the feathered feet... I like him but I dont love him.... still trying to decide if he stays

I am still debating this rooster.... can't have 30 roosters so??? Lol I think he will get to stay for a while anyway. I Have to invite some roosters to dinner this weekend so we will see..
We also have lots of roosters/Cockerels, but not 30. 5 of ours already met the freezer awhile ago. Next is the old hens' turn.

ah Michigan, no wonder you have snow - we've been getting more rain than anything else. Some years don't really get snow till Xmas or the day after  My Aunt, Uncle and 3 kids used to live in Ishpeming- spelled wrong but, I did my best.

Eventually they settled into Chicago, and the kids went to different areas.

Sometimes depending on location we can get Thunder Snow. It's a thunderstorm with snow instead of rain.
We don't normally get snow until Thanksgiving, but now we have an early winter thanks to global warming.

My baby roo named Butters. (My sister named him)
He's an incomplete Buff Columbian produced through my Wheaten Crele Orpington Project, which he has no use for. So when he grows up, he's going to make a good meaty rooster. He weighed about a pound at 9 weeks old.
