Rooster Problems?

So I got this rooster the other day and it seems he has no interest in my hens. My hens are a little over one year old and he is around three. My hens also squat when I walk up to them, but be won’t mate with them. They will be walking around outside and he will stay in the coop by himself. He originally came from a place with hens and one other rooster, in which he was the dominant one. So I’m just asking for some help I don’t know what to do.

If he's healthy, he may just need time to adjust to his new flock. You have looked him over for parasites, at least?

I am pretty sure he was breeding with his old flock and I have not yet had time to check and see if he has parasites.

Give him time to acclimate to the new place.
Check him over for bugs asap.
Hopefully he didn't bring any pests or diseases with him.

So he is finally wanting to mate with the girls! My hens have never seen a rooster before so every time he tries to they jump away from him. Any suggestions on what to do?
