I was outside and noticed some red on my roosters at thr base of one of the toes. The other toe on the other leg seems normal color. It doesnt seem to bother him and I don't see any injury but its impossible to get too close to him until bed time.

I can take a better picture later if need be, I know its not the best. All the hens toes all look ok.

Any help is appreciated

A red flush on a roosters feet can be normal. It is another sign of health and fertility just like the red on the face. I would look them over good just in case there an injury, and check for raised scales which can be sign of scaly leg mites. If they look fine otherwise I would chalk it up to hormones.

So this is still going on, not sure if anyone will see it. It seems like it has gotten a bit more swolen and the red has traveled a lil bit but I don't see anything, I'll try to look him over again. But any advice is appreciated.

Also on a random note what is that ? He has the toes and his spur? But then also that part I have circled.
