Rooster relocation

We acquired two backyard chickens and unfortunately one of them is starting to crow! We aren't allowed a rooster in our town. How can I see that he is relocated to a safe place? He's a beautiful white silkie!

Well, you can give him away to someone that wants him, but there's no guarantee they aren't going to eat him. That's what happens to most roosters. You can ask that he go to a breeding or pet home but what the new owner does is up to them.
