Rooster sets on eggs?

Does anyone else have a rooster that goes and sets on the egg after his wifey has moved off the nest? I have an Aracauna pair that lives on their own in my horse barn, and every day after the hen lays her egg, the rooster goes over and sets on the egg. He doesn't eat eggs, just hangs out on it for a while.

Anyone else have a roo that does this?

Really good roos do this.

I do… he’s a good boy doesn’t stick with it or anything but I’ll often catch him sitting on a freshly laid egg.
