Fascinating slides. I'd love to get a microscope someday.Personality wise he is back to normal and eating good
But he took a poop today has me concerned

Luckily we saw him poop so I put it in a water bottle shook it up with some flotation solution I made from Epsom salt after 5 min I poured what was on top about a cap full into another bottle then filled it with solution and topped off the bottles
waited 5 min and put a slide cover on each bottle to make 2 slides
Didn't see anything moving in either slide and unfortunately my microscope does not have a scale
I am getting a wire ran up my spine tomorrow
But if I can get some of his fresh poop will try to drop it off before I go in

I have to be honest about the poop: Although this is my first year raising chickens, I've done lots of reading, and I don't recall having seen something like that before. The color is very concerning.
I'm hoping someone else with more experiences can chime in and offer you some thoughts on this. I think the Chicken Chick put together a chart of poop photos with explanations of what each one could mean.
But wonderful news Johnny is progressing so well. I'm just really curious about his dropping and what we're seeing with the color.
