Rooster silkie?

Outside brain? Are you asking if that is his brain on the outside of his head?
No it is not. That is Walnut comb, and has a more rounded bumpy shape then a Single comb. See this article- https://104homestead.com/feather-patterns-comb-styles/
It discuses Walnut combs at #8.
So this is a normal crest for a silkie roo. Are there different types of crests for silkie roosters ? Again I’ve only had hens in the past

Yep, silkies have a crest. Polish chickens also get crests. They are not much of a problem although silkies do have a vaulted skull.

Are you talking about the feathers on his head, or the red comb thats on his forehead? Either way, yep its omcplty normal. I'm not sure if Silkies get different types of combs or not, but I believe Walnut is most common. Silkie mixes can have different types of combs.

What does that mean? Also I brought this Brahma rooster here yesterday as a rescue w no intent on keeping him just fo song him a good home. Last night he pecked my silkie rooster and made his walmut crest bleed. I’m concerned about infection. The bleeding is mostly stopped but I am worried. Wont be able to get to him again til he roosts tonight. I need suggestions/help understanding

Its probably confusing because what your calling the crest is actually called a comb. A crest is the "ball" of feathers on top of certain chickens heads. Silkies and other breeds have crests, but not all breeds.
All chickens have combs though.
Ex.
Crest is the ball of feathers on top of this Polish's head.

A comb is the red serrated length of skin on top of this chickens head.

Don't worry about it. Pecking injuries are very very common, and its unlikely that it will get infected. Chickens are very resilient and heal quickly, so little nips will disappear fast.
It’s not a little nip. He has been pecked like a slice across the top of his walnut crest. As a fairly mew chicken owner and silkie lover I am still learning . I only want silkies and only one roo. Unfortunately this trying to rescue a full size rooster was an extremely bad idea (lesson learned). I did find the Brahma a new and very good home. Now I just need my little guy to heal and be okay. Today he is eating and crowing. There has been no new bleeding today ( that stopped early yesterday). Just looking for info and reassurance. Thank you very much for your response.

He'll be alright. Is it a cut? If its deep, wash it out with warm soapy water or a wound cleansing solution such as Saline. Apply a coat of Neosporin and he'll be alright. Chickens are incredibly resilient, and can heal from predator attacks. I bet he'll be just fine. :)
