Not just Silkies have feathers feet. Lots of breeds have feathered feet including Cochins, Brahma's, Faverolle's, Sultans, multiple breeds of bantams, Marans and Silkies.

Thats what i was guessing. I bet they will be happy to get to stretch their legs! Pics of them out of the box and outdoors will help us determine if they may be bantams.

They seem much bigger than my silkie rooster or bantam and silkie hens

Outside brain? Are you asking if that is his brain on the outside of his head?
