Rooster Sneeizing

Can Chickens catch a cold? My Rooster seems to be sneezing. He was making some funny sounds yesterday - kind of a squeek.

No, they do not "catch colds", they get respiratory diseases. Most respiratory diseases in poultry are incurable. Does he have any other symptoms besides sneezing? Sneezing doesn't always mean a disease- environmental elements can also cause sneezing, such as dust or water. Does he have any watery/bubbly eyes? Any facial swelling? Coughing?

Thank you for your help. I checked his eyes this morning and his eyes are fine. Actually, he isn;t sneezing now. We have a had a very windy couple of days and our soil is very sandy. Maybe he just got some sand in his nose. I bought some medicine at Tractor Supply just in case it continues.
