Welp, it finally happened. Our lovely, docile rooster turned in us. It started with attacking my 4 year old because he didn't like her picking up the hens. She's been doing this for months! Then he turned on my husband and finally me (and I'm the only one who picks him up). So far it's just been small half hearted pecks and chest bumps but I worry it will become more. Our last rooster was put in the pot because we couldn't even be out in the yard with him, he'd just hunt us down and attacked with his spurs. This guy leaves us alone unless he feels threatened. Any advice? He's a great protector and I want to keep him, just not sure why he turned.
