I love to spotted tail feather. Chickens might be dumb, but they are not stupid. I suspect they are going to figure that one out.

Al lost his tail feathers rather quickly, but I anticipated that which is why I only glued in two. Also it was hard finding long enough feathers for a tail - besides the guinea feathers. His toupee is holding however he looks as though he has lost a couple feathers. I'm not sure if the glue didn't hold on them or if someone removed them for him. He doesn't have a pink scalp showing yet which is what I was going for.

oh this is so funny....
maybe you could learn how to use the glue that the hair stylists use to put extensions on people with. that would hold the tail feathers!!!!!!!

You could go to the craft store and buy feathers. He could have different colors for each day of the week. I'm thinking red/white/blue for independance day, orange for halloween etc.
