So my Rooster, 2 yo, started suddenly wheezing very loud almost a honking sound with inhale and exhale, gasping for breath isolating himself etc
I immediately isolated him from flock
He has no respiratory symptoms except the loud noise he makes breathing in and out and a strangled sounding crow.
He has been in isolation now for 3 weeks no injury or sign of a sickness, also no other sick chickens, just breathing, gasping and head shaking.
Treated him first 5 days with baytril and vitamins
He seemed a bit quieter.
Next I treated him with fenbendazole 3 days just a slight improvement
His stools are sometimes runny with a green tinge. He eats and drinks just fine any ideas ? Oh and mouth looks clean no ulcers or blockage that I can see.

Maybe try a different antibiotic? I used Penicillin for a respiratory infection in my hen. Worked great. 7-10 days. Dosage is dependent on his weight. Different antibiotics treat different bugs.

He has been like this for 3 weeks?
Can you get a video of him? Upload video to youtube and provide a link.
If no video, photos please - poop, rooster, inside of his beak, etc.

Is his crop empty in the morning?

5 days of Baytril with no improvement, I wouldn't try another antibiotic. What dosage did you use?

What dose of Fenbendazole are you giving?

Have you added any new birds to your flock recently?

Any chance he ate moldy feed?

The baytril was 22.7 I gave him 2 per day
The fenbendazole 1.5 ml of the 10% goat solution
I tried to upload video but this sit wouldnt allow ext ? Idk I'll work on that, he actually seems to have improved today a bit
Making a clicking sound with break and gaping occasionally but his tail is droopy
No new chickens in flock
They free range and hen scratch I supplement them with is not moldy
Crop is empty, he is still eating and drinking on his own

So only 3 of the 5 pictures this site allowed hope that is helpful, he seems vastly improved today except the color of his dropping, very little wheezing last treatment of dewormer was 4 days ago

Glad he seems to be getting a bit better.

I don't see any photos. For video you would need to upload to youtube and provide a link, the BYC upload does not work.

Do you feed any poultry feed or just scratch?
