Rooster?? When do they start laying??

I have 6 5 month old chicks I thought they would be laying by now based on previous chicks. I'm not sure if I have a rooster she crows sometimes not a lot. They all get along in their coop and run read up about how to identify and she doesn't have the chareristicts of a rooster we have wooden eggs in their nest all seem very happy . Any advice would be apppreciated! Thank you

Some breeds lay much later than others. What breed is she/he? Can you post pictures of her?
