Rooster with orangish comb

I have a small flock of bantam Cochins and my one roosters comb isnt red like the rest! They all are only about 5 months old and he eats fine and is acting normal but his comb just isn't a bright red. I was planning on keeping him because I like his color but now I'm wondering if there is something wrong with him! I think his comb has always been off! Need advice please.
