Rooster with purple dots

Someone please help, a few days ago i noticed some mulberry colors dots on some on my pullets comb and wattles. So i looked at more roosters and noticed tons of these odd dots under the back of his comb. What is this and how is it treated?

I think those dark spots may just be from superficial damage from either getting pecked at or other mechanical damage? I am not an expert though, so I hope others weigh in. I hope your boy is okay!
