Rooster with pus pocket at base of tail. Help please 🙏

I just looked up that glad and his was HUGE and so tight. It hurt him just to touch it. Thank you guys for pointing out that that is his oil gland. I found his exact symptoms and possibly what could be wrong.

Yes, I am pretty sure you are squeezing out his 'oil'. Puss is white.

Not all puss is white though. So I didn't know. All I knew is that it was hurting him

Yeah, if it was not supposed to come out them it would hurt. Did it hurt him before you squeezed or after?

Before. It hurt to the touch. He actually seemed a little relieved afterwards
