So my rooster (barred rock) has had pink-ish legs but now it's turned red, they are NOT hot, nothing is like bumblefoot...but its sore for him to walk. I noticed a couple other roosters(RIR and another BR) with pinkish legs. I thought hormones but the one has limped for a while. Any suggestions, these are my first chickens ever...and I love them. He was the nicest "hen" at first so I named Stella. Later to find out she was a he.

Thank you

That's normal. It shows hormones are flowing, & high. Seen on hens too, but usually less extreme.
Thank you, I hope it doesn't last too long cuz he has limped for awhile but he moves around. At first he didn't wanna move and I thought maybe he broke something when the roosters were mounting everyone ( I thought he was a hen at first) and then it seemed to get better but it's redder now so I was concerned.
