i just adopted this rooster a week ago. Super sweet. Active. Healthy eater and grazer out here on 3 acres with all my hens. Everything looks awesome on him. No runny eyes or nose. No wheezing. Seems perfectly healthy minus this tic or itch or something he seems to have on his left side of his face. Comb looks fine too. Lady I got him from said she hasn’t had any problems and just thought it was somethin he’s done because she’s always seen it too. Could it just be neurological? Advice or suggestions? :) thank you! I can’t seem to figure out how to get a video posted

Chickens make that movement when their crop feels a bit uncomfortable. It helps settle the contents so they will empty out of the crop.

Some chickens have a chronic problem with the crop not emptying fully each night as it should. You need to check this roo's crop in the morning before he has had a chance to eat or drink anything.

Feel his crop now to get an idea of its condition. The contents should make a small bulge, neither hard nor overly full, maybe about a golf ball size clump. If his crop is super full, hard and lumpy, he may have an impaction.
