Rooster?

Is the correct term cockerel? I think I was duped. As it gets older this sure seems like a male chicken. My wife has said it was crowing the last 2 mornings.

Cockerel is the term used for a young male and cock for an older one. And yes, you definitely have a beautiful boy there!

Large tails, large combs, thick legs, and long pointy feathers coming off their neck and back mean it's a rooster. He's very pretty, but 100% male.
