It's entirely possible they mature at different rates and not uncommon at all. It is also common for some bird to start laying much later when maturing during diminishing daylight. It just started increasing again. But she is not even really red in the face indicating that she is not yet ready to lay.Ok so i probably have 2 pullets, but can it be that the darker one is maturing slower? I think i still see feathers growing longerthe light one has been laying for 3 weeks now
