If it continues, cull. That is violent and unacceptable behavior. So I have a 5 month old rooster that been mating with the older hens . I notice he been really aggressive toward them all the hens comb is bleeding .. should i separate him until he gets more mature or cull him ?

Do they submit and let him mate or.....???
Hard to know if he will mellow out or not.
So still pullets, but probably laying. The hens are 8 months old and no the will not let him sometimes .. and attack him sometimes too when hea trying to mate with them.

He should back off if they resist.
Might try separating him for a month or two....or just get rid of him now.
Depends on how badly you want a male in the flock....or how bad you want this male.
Rough is not good.Beside him being so rough on the hens. Hes a really good chicken.
