Thank you, I have one other which is older but separated with hens. I raised him inside then graduated outside. He's being bossy to the other chicks that he is with . He is the only boy in there. Thank you for responding and the advice.

Sometimes cockerels are nervous or won't crow if there is a dominant rooster around. So your boy may be late to crow.

I had a pullet whose eye got pecked and dilated for a week or two before it started to go blind. If wanted you can rinse daily with saline solution as a precaution. Otherwise, just watch to see what he does.

Good afternoon I just checked his eye again and I put on my reading glasses. When I looked his pupil is normal its the area around the pupil that's like a dark brown the pupil is darker and was working normal as i had an object in my hands to have him turn his head in the direction so i can see it better with my glasses on. But still he's doing fine
