it does crow but we heard that hens can to show dominance but we don’t know what to believe. so what’s your opinion?

Without a doubt cockerel. He's got a very large and red comb and male specfic feathers... and you say he's already crowing.

Ugh. That’s what I was afraid of. We started our little flock with 3 “pullets” and it turned out 2 of them were male. Thanks for the responses though. I’d rather know it before it becomes a problem for the lone hen.
