I'm new to the 🐔 game. I've got 6. One of them looks bigger & is it's comb looks to be growing quickly. The other 5 are nowhere close. They're all about 7 weeks old. This one is also the friendliest. This is the best photo i could get.

Can you keep him? Or do you have to figure something out for him? :hit
We'll probably keep him. I'd hate to rehome him. Not his fault everyone thought he was a she. I've learned it's trial by fire with 🐔 lol so this won't be any different.

I assume we just keep them separate once mature. We aren't in the business this year of making new chicks.

Oh good!!! And honestly if you collect the eggs every day, you won’t have new chicks anyways. They have to be incubated to develop. And the eggs won’t taste any different or have little chicks in them or anything like that. So you can keep them together and if he’s a good rooster he’ll help find treats for them and protect them a den cute things like that. BUT!!!! Some people are grossed out by the idea of eating fertilized eggs even though there’s no babies developing so if you still want to separate him, I completely understand. But I would make it so he can still see them so he won’t get lonely.
