Rooster?

I’m told the larger comb an indication of a rooster. He’s also larger than his sibs.

Just in case, I’ve been bringing him every day in for lap time. The last thing I want is shredded ankles.

What do you think?

My chicks are about 3-4 weeks old and I’ve been told I have a rooster. I really don’t want a rooster shreddmy ankles so I’ve been bringing him in, holding him and he’s loving it.

What do you all think? Rooster?

This is something that gets debated on here but I would discourage getting friendly with your rooster.

I’ve been bringing him in, holding him and he’s loving it

He might love it right now before his hormones kick in but I would suggest reading the following article—especially the part about over-familiarity:

Wow they're well feathered for 3-4 weeks! Yeah a better pic may help, but are you sure of the age? If so, I'd still wait to make sure. That's kinda young to tell. I've had pullets comb up early also.

Share better photos, breed etc and maybe we can help more. Unless they're really only 3-4 weeks then my advice is reach out again at 8 weeks.
