rooster?

I am a first time chicken owner living in Des Moines, IA with a backyard flock of 8 chickens. today i heard crowing down at the coop. i went down for about 30 min. but didn't hear any more. i believe it is the barred rock so here are some pictures-














If he/or she is a rooster what do I do? we live fairly close to neighbors and i don't think that they would be thrilled about a rooster crowing all the time. Thank you very much for any help. sooner rather than later would be awesome.

Yep, that's a roo. Try Craigslist to get rid of him - I've had good luck with barred rocks
