Roosters a plenty??

It's the local feed store's non-gmo brand. I think it may be more of a Midwest brand? $18 for 50lbs but we ferment and they roam a large fenced in pasture area that we frequently rotate so that helps keep our costs down some.

I’ve found Easter eggers easy to sex and to mature rather early then most breeds.
Your buffs are girls, and the barred rock is a girl, but I think your easter eggers are both boys. Pointed hackle feathers is why. They can be hard to sex and they mature much later than other breeds. Let me know if they start to crow! Looks like they are ready to do just that!

For young ees it’s hard to tell by neck feathers. I’ve learned to always look at the booty. If you zoom in you can tell the difference between the buff ee and the red ee. You can see the pointed saddle feathers like the neck.

Yes, mostly I agree, but those saddle feathers don't come in until almost 4 months old! Without the waddles and comb like other breeds, I still say EE's are difficult to sex! We always hope for girls! :fl
