Roosters and Hens

New at this...I can't yet tell the sex of my 5 chicks. Worried one might be a rooster. If I decide to keep him can I keep him in with the hens? Will I be over run with chicks? Or have depressed hens if I take eggs? How can I tell which eggs are fertilized? I'm sire you can tell I am new at this!

first of all how old are they, can you take a picture?

Yes you can have a rooster as long as where you are allows one! As long as you collect eggs every day, you won't have more chicks and make sure a hen is not hiding eggs!

If you have a roo your eggs usually WILL be fertilised!

The hens will not mind if you take eggs! If she is broody she will be angry and try and peck you! What breed are they?

Yeah, if you take a pic of wings (weird right!) if you could coz you can tell their gender if they are only just getting wing feathers!
