We got a batch of 9 chicks. At 3 weeks, at least two are roosters (not sure about some others). Obviously, we want the hens, but may keep one guy. Will that be a problem with breeding, which will happen whether we intend it or not? I am thinking of the genetics. Would we be better advised to dump the males we have and find another? If it matters we have Australopes.

Probably isn't going to show up as a problem, for a few generations. My sibling roosters have bred back to related hens without any apparent side effects. No two headed chicks, no extra legs, or, wings. However, extra wings and legs might be a good thing.
