Roosters are fighting. Help!

What i am asking is. If you have a rooster that is fighting and you hatch chicks which some may be males why would you put them in with him? Or are you saying if the new ones don't fight with the old one you will leave them together?
Lots of people have successfully kept a bachelor flock of cockerels/roosters.
Usually the key to doing this successfully is making sure there are no girls anywhere they can see them.
There’s still a pecking order even if it’s all boys just like when the flock is all females.

I keep all my roosters their own 6 x 10 pen where they can have up to 5 lady visitors or coop mates. I try to keep the number of ladies down to 3 but sometimes they get a full house if demand for that specific hatching egg is up. Currently the largest penned flock is 4 girls and 1 rooster. Even with larger pens and hiding spaces I have never been able to keep 2 mature roosters. As far as an all male flock, I heard that works and maybe one day I will have property that can be set up to do that. I really love having roosters and would love to see them interact.

it could go either way. They challenged each other and got into one physical altercation once before I seperated them. They are both good roosters. I could them with dad, but girls would be present and I don't feel the area would be big enough to support multiple boys. I like the idea of a boy flock. At the end of their time together the leghorn(in the house) would have rather not fight. He would avoid the other one and for the most part he would walk away instead of engage. It was the one that is with the girls that did the challenging, but he is very good with the girls. My gut tells me the leghorn would take the boys under his wing.

I may have gotten away with keeping them together but I did not want anyone hurt. The one altercation was enough. They were both leaving that day after the fight, but the rescue was full so I had to decide quickly what I was going to do.

The good ole days..lol

1 rooster in each separate 6x10 pens...or all your roosters in one 6x10 pen?

Is there any hope they will get along or do we need to pick our favorite one?
Hard to say, sure doesn't sound like it. Might depend on the birds and your housing. But am guessing it would be best to pick the one you want to keep and get rid of the other one.
Also depends on your goals, why do you want or need a male bird?

sounds like normal roostering to me, I would leave them be for awhile and see how it goes. The number 2 one will learn its place and things will be fine if they are like most. once it calms down there will still be occasional scuffles if the number 2 tries to regain top position but thats normal chicken behavior. Its not like they are game chickens, It is highly doubtful they will fight till there is serious injury, not as long as they are able to get away from each other at the end of a scuffle at least

A little background:
We have 2 roosters who we've had since they were chicks. They are about 7-8 months old. Out of nowhere, they started fighting today. It wasnt anything too severe, but they both had blood on their faces. It seems that our welsummer has surrendered to our wyandotte (the welsummer was in charge, so this surprised us). We've been keeping an eye on them all day and the wyandotte is not letting the welsummer even come out to eat or drink. The welsummer has been under the chicken coop most of the day and everytime he tries to come out, he gets attacked. We locked up the wyandotte in a dog kennel at roosting time. Is there any hope they will get along or do we need to pick our favorite one?

When my two boys fought, I separated the flocks back so Roo could live in peace, he is still afraid of the other rooster to this day lol

I do a see no touch separate enclosure all "3" roosters are separate

I don't think you would need to choose ,poor boy! :)
