Nice looking breed -- I didn't know people actually owned EF's.  How's his temperament so far -- does he like to forage far from the yard?

I wasn't looking to own one, he kinda just fell into my hands so I raised him. He's not an angry rooster. But he's very feisty and mischievous. He seems to like to kick around in the dirt more then do much foraging.

He's young yet. Still in his playful rather than serious adult mood

. I talked with someone who got offered a rare Gold Spangled Hamburg by chance and she took it - turned out to be one of her favorite birds in the flock and was devastated when a predator got her at 3 yrs!
