Roosters crow.....

I was watching a cooking program on TV yesterday, they were in a garden, and heard a rooster crowing in the background. It is a lovely sound! I don't know why we can't have roosters in the city. I suppose if you have them crowing all hours of the night that could be annoying to the next door neighbors. Especially when houses are built so close together these days.

That is exactly why i guess..........i wish though people wouldnt compain. I mean if its just one rooster it shouldnt be a problem but there are people that if they know you have a rooster and they still havent even heard it they start complaining and start making problems.......people these days dont appreciate real nature, LOL.

Every rooster sounds different. There is a distinction on each breed's sound. But like people, each bird sounds thier own way.
We have 2 RIR roos, and they do sound different from each other. Our BR's crow is shorter then our leghorn, our brahma mix has a deep throaty sounding crow.. etc.. lol
