my rooster is an americauna, 5 months old. my roosters eyes have been shut almost all day. i came home from work and he was laying all alone sleeping which i thought was weird because he usually sleeps cuddled up to everyone. i let them out of the run and he got up and came out and stood there and shut his eyes. he still is making sounds and like “growling” but he keeps his eyes closed when he does it. it looks like he is sleeping but he’s been doing it all day and that’s not normal for him. he just stands and has his eyes closed and doesn’t do anything. if one of the hens makes noises or he here’s something he opens his left eye to look for a few seconds and then closes it and keeps his right eye closed. what should i do with his? it seems like when he closes his eyes he sinks his neck down like he normal does when he is sleeping. should i be concerned

You should be concerned, I don't know what is wrong with him but this isn't normal. Are there any chicken vets in your area?
