roosters killing hens

seen the roos picking on one of the hens yesterday came home from work today and found it dead what do i do with the roo's they where pecking at some of the other hens also thanks ed

I have two roos in one pen and I noticed that when one of them is mating the other attacks her when the first is done

At first he attacked the roo but now he's starting to attack her! I have removed him from the pen now. He will most likely be stew.

The ratio sounds fine. Are the hens getting really beat up? Can you put each roo in its own cage for a few days to give the hens a rest? I'd hate to see you lose another one that way. how horrible.

Hanging wit my peeps could be on to something. Keep the best rooster and have chicken and dumplings this sunday. If he's anything like my roosters he will have to cook for a long time.

have them seperated right now will give it a couple days then maybe sunday dinner
