Putting a non barred male over barred females yields sex linked chicks....any with a head dot at hatch (indicates barring present) is male and will feather out barred, females dont get the barring gene in those crossings so no dot and no barred feathering

I did that exact same cross. Yes, all of your barred birds are males. They aren't "barred rocks" now, they're black sexlinks. Your females will be the ones that are mostly a black body with a bunch of gold on their heads and chests.
