lease help us out we thought we had four Barred Rock Pullets but these two have such big combs and waddles.
We would like to know if that means they might be roosters the other two have much smaller comb and waddles.

We got them a week old on April 3rd.
So that puts them about 4 months.
We read that there combs and waddles turn red so we opened up the nesting boxes
But then a friend took a look and said those two might be roosters..

None of your birds show any physical signs of being male - comb and wattle development does, however, point to pullets approaching the point of lay :)

Those are all pullets, your girls are just growing up

. I'd expect eggs within the month from them.

Thank You
We are looking forward to the first eggs
My husband is just finishing up on the new hutch. We learned a lot after making the first one the chickens will be in heaven
