Roosterwith frostbite!

I've been using a q-tip to apply the antibotic ointment.
He has been sleeping most of the day. He looks up when I walk in the room, but then he lays his head back down.

I gave him a big hug for everyone. He is being very calm and not trying to fight me when I rub the meds on him.

How sweet.

Thanks for the update.

That is real bad frost bite, my guess is he's gong to lose his comb. Body parts won't grow back so he will be forever tiny combed. Watch real careful for infection, as you don't want gangerine to set in as that can be deadly.

Also, avoid rubbing it as that can agrivate what tissue is left. Allowing it to dry and fall off might be the best but I have not dealt with this.
