Good day fellow chicken lovers,
I am pretty new to owning chickens and still trying to learn the procedures so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I converted an existing shed into the chicken coop and attached a run to the front of the coop. I also recently built a roost for them with a sand filled poop board underneath which I clean daily while they're eating their breakfast.
They use the roost at night but during the day they have a tendency to roost on the ground inside their coop leaving poop everywhere.
Is there any method or secret to get them to stop pooping everywhere else in the coop and to use their roost during the day time as well?
