They all used to roost in the coop but now the 8 youngsters prefer to sleep on the high branch in their run. The two silkies still happily talked themselves off to the coop.
I have been out at the dead of night a few times to see if mites are the issue but cannot see anything even after moving bars etc.
either the branch/outdoors is more like a normal environment or there's maybe some hierarchy.
They do use the roosts in the coop during the day.
The run is secure . hardwired and on concrete.
Do I just leave them be or start throwing them in the coop?
