Roosting

My chicks have been in coop since Thursday night. They are officially already putting themselves to bed at 8 pm. However, they are not roosting on the roosts. They are sitting in the corner on the edge of wall. I had the nesting boxes there and they were sitting on edge of nesting box. So today I took nesting boxes out and they are still sitting in that spot scrunched on a 2X4 attached too wall. Should I just let them do their thing or should I somehow encourage them to sit in actual roosts? They are in the left bottom corner of pic.

If you're going to have nest boxes there then they should be taught to roost on the roost. It may take a few tries but moving them after dark to the roost has worked for me.

Looks like they want to roost but haven't figured out where to do so, so yes I'd move them to the roost after dark and they should figure it out in a few days.
