Rouen Duck thread

Thank you for the information. I will keep my fingers crossed that I have rouens and that they are a pair.

I am new to ducks so I'm learning as I go. As always, BYC is a great source of information. Hopefully I can get answers to some of my duck questions. I have 2 , I thought Rouen ducks. They have the yellow stripping on their face still as babies. I noticed this week that one has the very vivid white ring around his neck. I'm hopin for a pair. Are they in fact rouens? Since the other one does not have the white ring, would that indicate she's a female?

Also, are Rouen and mallards the me type of duck?

That's a drake....looks more mallard than rouen.

Hi everyone so I have 3 ducks soon to get more I thought/hoping I had 3 females but I have 1 female 2 drakes I know I have a drake Rouen I think I might have a female as well but I'm pretty sure these are goin to be my breeding pair. They are inseparable!! Top pic is the two of them and the bottom pic is her

I've got a male/female pair of Rouens as well as a Rouen / Pekin mix and 2 of his offspring (lost momma to an eagle). My Rouens are almost 4 months old now and starting to color .

Here is Lynette (front center) and Leroy (rear center) as well as the offspring from my Rouen mix and Pekin.

They are very cute. I love the colors of the one to the far left.
