Rouen Duck thread

Pics
lol...on the any drakes at all.  I'm excited to get my first duck egg!  I don't know what I'll do with the extra drakes.  I may have a drake pen, but will probably sadly get rid of them.  I might put them on craigslist and put "will trade" in there somewhere just so I can laugh at all the offers of faded or paintless garden gnomes, broken wheelbarrows, leaves, etc....lol.

The first egg is always exciting! I don't think a drake pen would work. They know females are around so they will get err "frustrated" and end up beating up each other which could lead to deaths. Lol who knows maybe someone will trade you a chocolate Muscovy!

I know this the rouen duck thread but could anyone please tell me what kind of duck this is

I have had it since easter its wings are clipped it has a light blue bill and light blue feet its a female and its tail looks funny could anyone please tell me what kind of duck I have?

I can tell she's still molting but I have not a clue as to what she could be and I'm usually pretty good at this. I've never seen a duck with them colors. Her legs and feet are really cool. The last picture kinda reminds me of a call duck but I'm not sure if she is one as that's a breed I'm not familiar with. It doesn't seem like she's super tiny though so she might not be a call duck either. Hmm I'm stumped on this one

she sounds kinda like a chicken when it quacks and it has a big tail
Hmm maybe she's a Muscovy? I'm not familiar with that breed either but now that I see her tail she looks like one. I'm thinking Muscovy now so maybe try over in the Muscovy lovers thread. They will be able to tell you for sure if she is one :)

A few pics from yesterday. Sorry about their flock mates
