PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY ROUEN DUCKLINGS!!!

Last year i got 2 rouen ducklings from the farm store (male and female) and the female started sitting on her first nest this summer on June 9th. She was doing good with the nest and then over night a animal came and ate a bunch of the eggs only leaving 7 left. she seamed to loose interest in the eggs and was not sitting on them for a few hours so in fear of the eggs going bad and possibility being eaten by the hungry animal again i decided to collect all the eggs and hatch them myself. i put the eggs in a container and put a heat lamp on them keeping it between 85-95 degrees for the past two weeks. I have been rotating and candling the eggs and everything has been going great. A few days before the ducklings were supposed to hatch we had to have the heat lamp off because we were traveling and didn't want out house to burn down while we were gone. when we got back some of the eggs looked blue and smelled. its now day 31 and still nothing, the last time i candled them was yesterday and i got moment out of a few of the eggs. should i be worried? i feel like they could be late because of inconstant temps. can anyone give me some advice on what to do? (BTW i put a wet rag over the eggs for the past few days to keep the humidity up in case they hatch.)

Oops.. A bird will often abandon a nest it detects had been invaded by a predator (including human). Sorry you had to go through that. Knowing this could happen is precisely why I'm not incubating a lovely clutch of variety chickens I have right now. They could be set within the next several days and have a good hatching chance, but my early august travel plans do not mitigate a successful hatch and new chicks scenario.
