Hey, I have 4 Rouen ducks who are just shy of their 6th week birthday!
I am wondering if anyone can guess what their genders are? I am colour blind so much help is appreciated in spotting feather/bill colours. I have noticed that one duck’s bill is much darker than the others. TIA!

Their feathers all look rather identical at the moment. The one near the middle closest to the camera is most certainly male due to his yellow bill, but the rest are questionable.

Their voices would be most reliable right now. You could get a video of each of their voices separately, upload it to somewhere like YouTube, and link it here.

Looks to me like 2 males, 2 females (I'd be willing to place a big bet that ducky on the far right is definitely a girl). I could be wrong, but I have 9 rouens so I'm pretty familiar with the breed..😊. Your ducks are beautiful btw. The one facing the camera reminds me of my Makari..he looks very mischievous just like him lol🦆❤️😄

Thanks! I’m hoping for 2boys and 2girls so fingers crossed 🤞🏼

I will try to get videos of their voices! When I get too far away from them there are two that very loudly quack looking for me.

I’m noticing the feathers just above the tails seem to be different. Two of them have feathers with brown trim and the other two have feathers that are solid.
Is this based on sex?

Far left is 100% male, and I know in Campbells, the males usually have solid, dark tails like that, so perhaps it’s true in Rouens, too!

I’d say it’s looking like you have 2 male, 2 female, or 1 male, 3 female.

I’ve only had female Rouens, but this is what my youngest girls looked like at about the same age as yours. I don’t have great tail pictures, but hopefully they help! My younger girls are just over 12 weeks old now. They were quacking loudly between 6 and 8 weeks of age (I had a late bloomer). Your girls should be very loud and obnoxious (but cute), and your boys will sound raspy or they may sound like a kazoo.
