Just keep an eye on him. When they pip on the pointy end, it's usually through the membrane straight to the outside (instead of an internal pip into the air cell on the fat end and then to the outside) and can sometimes go through blood vessels or be a bit more challenging for them to maneuver. As long as he's progressing though, that is good.
I’m not able to see any part of the duckling through the pip. I know there’s always a little hole there for them to get some oxygen - not visible to the human eye. I’ll try to get some pictures through the viewing glass part.
